Bama bornalso known as Bama Faustina Soosairajis a Tamil Dalit feminist, committed teacher and novelist. She rose to fame with her autobiographical novel Karukkuwhich chronicles the joys and sorrows experienced by Dalit Christian women in Tamil Nadu.
